Micro Wedding and Elopement Coverage: Why a Custom Package Makes More Sense

Micro weddings are having a moment — and for good reason. Fewer guests, more intimacy, less stress, and a day that actually feels like you. But here is where most couples hit a wall: wedding vendor pricing is still built around the traditional big wedding model.

A fifty-person ceremony does not need eight hours of coverage. It does not need a second shooter plus an assistant. And it definitely does not need a package price that assumes it does. Alphares Studio’s Build Your Own tool was made for exactly this shift.

What Micro Wedding Coverage Actually Looks Like

A micro wedding typically runs three to five hours. You have a ceremony, maybe a short reception or dinner, and a few portraits. That is it — and that is beautiful. You do not need to document eight hours of prep, cocktail hour, and a full reception that is not happening.

With our builder, you can book exactly three or four hours, choose photo only or photo plus video, and add a drone pass if your venue has that outdoor view worth capturing from above. That is a complete, professional coverage package — tailored to a micro wedding, priced like one.

The 4-Hour Deal

One thing couples consistently love in the Mix & Match builder is the four-hour deal built right in. Four hours is the sweet spot for micro weddings and elopements — enough time to cover preparation, ceremony, and portraits without paying for hours you will not use.

You will see the savings reflected automatically in your quote as you build. Transparent, instant, no guessing.

Elopements Too

Elopements are even leaner. One to two hours, a stunning location, just the two of you (and maybe a witness). The builder handles that too — start with one hour and add what you need. Want a drone shot of the two of you on the cliffs at Torrey Pines? Add it. Want a short cinematic highlight? Add it. Keep everything else minimal. That is your day, documented perfectly.

Either way, Alphares Studio has the right coverage for the wedding you are actually planning — not the one the industry assumes you are.
